Kelly's Storage is a fast growing storage provider. The core business activities involve offering document and data storage services to some of the UK largest companies, as well as offering innovative self storage and domestic / international removals services.

The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for the development and maintenance of six public websites, and two private (secure) websites.

In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for managing online advertising campaigns, and managing placements with advertisers.

The candidate will have excellent HTML, CSS, PHP skills, as well as an understanding of SEO techniques and an understanding of online marketing. Exposure to SQL and Pay Per Click advertising is a definite advantage.

Kelly's Storage currently has a small team of very experienced software developers, and future projects will allow the successful candidate to acquire additional skills.

The position is based at the Kelly's Storage offices on Slyfield Industrial Estate in Guildford, Surrey.

The software development team is responsible for maintaining all internal application systems, as well as managing all websites and intranet services used by the company.

The successful applicant will have strong technical experience of Delphi application development, and possess excellent SQL Server skills. The applicant will ideally have extensive commercial experience.

The applicant will be required to take control and responsibility of existing projects, and a willingness to work independently is essential.

Experience of any of the following will be an advantage: PHP, XML, MySQL, Visual Basic, Perl, Microsoft Office.

Excellent salary (£30-50k) depending on experience.

Our new trailers have now hit the streets, with fun and eyecatching new designs featuring our new company mascot "Kelly the Kangaroo".

Kelly's were the first company in the UK to collect self storage from your home, and we feel that our new designs really stand out from the crowd.

We have been working hard for a while now, and are very pleased to launch our online booking service.

As part of our on-going commitment to customer satisfaction, we feel that online booking will further enhance our exceptional service, and will provide our customers with control over their storage 24 hours a day.

Kelly's is currently looking for a self-motivated individual to provide out of hours telephone coverage. Your duties will typically involve providing telephone support and assistance to customers in the evenings and at weekends when our main offices are closed.

The successful applicant will work from home, using a broadband internet connection, and as such basic IT skills are essential. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.

Everyone at Kelly's would like to wish a very happy 60th birthday to David Martin, the chairman of the Kelly's group.

The celebrate, David was presented with a gift of a tennis lesson with "Jeremy Bates" at Wimbledon.

A special "birthday card" was also presented to David featuring caricatures of Kelly's employees.

David is much loved at Kelly's, and we all wish him many happy returns!

Over 800 runners attended "Bolt Round The Holt", and helped to raise £15,000 for two Guildford based charities on the 4th April 2009.

Kelly's Self Storage sponsored the event, and also entered a team of over 50 runners.

Kelly's would like to thank everyone who took part in the event, as well as the team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, and All About Triathlons, who did an exceptional job in organising the day.

We would also like to thank our own staff who helped out on the day manning water stations, and marshalling.

All the money raised will go towards two cancer charities at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Kelly's Self Storage are proud to be the main sponsor for a major a charity run in aid of St Lukes Cancer Fund and G.U.T.S (Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening) which specialises in the early detection of bowel cancers. These are the two major cancer charities at the Royal Surrey County Hospital and we feel they are very worthwhile causes.

Monies raised will go towards the Da Vinci appeal which aims to raise the money to purchase a state of the art robot used in pioneering, complex cancer surgery, ensuring that our local hospital will be at the forefront in the treatment of cancer.

The 'Bolt round the Holt' fun run will take place on Saturday 4th April 2009 at the very beautiful Alice Holt Wood in Farnham. Runners can participate in either 5km, 10km or, if they are feeling very energetic or perhaps training for the London Marathon, can run a half marathon.

Kelly's Self Storage have entered a 50+ strong team to run the race, and there will be over 750 runners on the day!

Just a quick note to say a big public thank you to the people at Charlie Vegas.

They really went above and beyond the call of duty to get us our kangraoo costume all the way from France with just a few days notice!

The costume has been a big hit with people at the events we have attended recently.
